ReTrust.Me includes PostgreSQL support for the certificate repository and log database, and uses the PostgreSQL packages coming with the Linux distribution.
Following cards are known to work with the Enrollment Client: Gemalto IDPrime MD, SafeNet eToken, Oberthur AuthentIC.
Following Hardware Security Modules should work with ReTrust.Me PKI: SafeNet Luna, SafeNet ProtectServer (recommended).
Note: Gemalto has acquired SafeNet, so both product lines can be found from their resellers. See Gemalto website.

The source code for the Enrollment Client is there, and for the PKI itself there, thanks to GitLab. The ReTrust.Me PKI itself is written in PERL: the source code is in the ISO. The ISO also redistributes binaries coming from the OpenSSL and OpenSC projects: you can get their respective source code from these locations (including engine_pkcs11, a pkcs11 engine from OpenSSL coming from OpenSC).
